Matthew 16:24
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Jesus calls us through His ministry to address our identity, consisting of our values, beliefs and inclinations in our learning to identify with Him and His kingdom. We believe our identity is foremost what Jesus calls to be born again; a process completed by grace.
Matthew 6:33 says,
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
We believe that ministries and giftings are meant to usher generations of disciples into stature and seek out their calling that they may be sent.
Ephesians 4:11-13
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
At Amazing Grace we believe that everything we do is meant to disciple new generations of believers into stature; authority and their calling. We see every area of ministry as a platform to train new generations into stature and authority.
